More Speed
I have a 2005 Precedent, with a 6" lift & 22" tires. I had it reprogramed at a local dealer for top speed. I would like more Top End Speed. Is there a combination Motor and Controller that will give me more Top End? If so, what other modifications must be done to the wiring, reprograming or ect.
Thanks, Eddie |

Re: More Speed
A D&D 505:2 motor propels a car on stock tires to 24 mph with a 10% decrease in torque. They say a decrease in torque, but that's with the factory controller. Drop a 500 amp Alltrax in it and you'll be moving in no time.
East Coast Custom Carts Inc. can get that motor and controller. Check with Ron at 1.954.901.9133. His website is the second from the left in my signature, but I don't think that motor is listed on there. |

Re: More Speed
Thanks,
I am in the process of checking with Ron. Do you know if anything else on my cart would have to be upgraded? Will it have to be re-coded, battery cables, and ect. Eddie |

Re: More Speed
I would upgrade to 4 gauge cables.
If you measure each one generously, Roady89 can make them for you. I got some from him and they were the absolute best I've ever seen or used. If you call Alltrax, they should send you the necessary things to program the controller through your PC. |

Might throw in a H/D solenoid for good measure.
