Never did get an ID on this thing but I had some old Yamaha coil over shocks and some 2" square tube laying around. So, it got a 2" lift kit. That got it up off it's knees. Ready to go back to pulling the feed wagon 2Xs a day. It has been doing that for about 30 yrs.

Thanks KC. It took the bounce out of it. Those old coils were completely worn out. Where I mounted them, it raised the front 3 inches & it needed it!
I wasn't as happy with the rear. I raised it and put the same shocks in . They installed at an angle just like the old ones.....but the cart still has a lot of side to side sway if you take hold of the roof support and pull & push. I'm wondering if that isn't the nature of the 3 wheel vehicle. When its rocking side to side the front wheel is just laying over a bit like a bike. The rear has standard looking coil springs and the same shocks. Any one have any ideas about this?

How much is it moving side to side? Mine does it a bit but then again my shocks are shot.

alot. way too much. years ago I had a coil sprung chevy truck cut down to a trailer, if you follow me? Well the darn thing had air shocks on it but still swayed alot because coils just do that. Coupled with a pivot point (1wheel) for a front end, well no wonder they don't make 3 wheelers anymore.....Sorry for the bad rap but, that's just my opinion.

SCottyb, looks JUST like Arcitech's three wheeler. To the hilt... I thought his was a 70's model and earlier models had a pendulum steering system. Here are a few sites if you haven't found them yet

(has some vintage golf cart parts suppliers at the bottom)

I've been hanging around here for about 6 months. I know this is an old thread but hopefully, someone will know.
I have a Westinghouse like the one in this thread I am rebuilding. I say rebuilding because I am not doing a complete restoration. Anyhoo, one of the front springs is broken so I will refit shocks as Scottyb did. I have the rear swing arm off now to replace rusted, broken angle iron due to battery acid. No problem, Thats done.
My question is, how do I lift the rear of this machine? I'm thinking no more than 2
inches. Do I extend the frame mounts where the swing arm attaches to the frame, by 2"?
Or simply put some 2" blocks under the coil springs?

Thanks in advance,
