![]() I have changed the motor to a high speed high torque motor
It was running fine then slowed abruptly. stoped moving and just a click and feels like it trys to move but does not. I have 36+ volts at the silonoid. any help would be appreciated. 2001 ezgo dcs, motor electric motor products a02-4012 w/ sf lr5.x switch kit it has been running fine since 2008 when i installed the motor. |

![]() Have you tried testing your batts. You may have a bad cell. also those factory dcs controllers are not known to last.

![]() 2001 I'm pretty sure would be a PDS not a DCS. Did the controller throw any error codes? Assuming you have not disabled the reverse buzzer.

![]() bat volt test shows #1-6.26 #2-6.27 #3-6.23 #4-6.24 #5-6.13 #6-6.13
don't know about error codes but buzzer is working. I just jacked it up one wheel on ground and the motor runs w/a slow start and then not very fast.forward and reverse same type action. set it on ground and checked to see if axle was spinning in hub it's not motor just hums with the load on it. |

![]() Batts are 60-80% and should be fully charged. How old?
Check all cables/connections. If indeed PDS, put in diagnostic mode and check for any error codes. Assuming you still have the stock PDS controller. |

![]() On Trojans look for a letter/number on top of negative post. Others brands may be similar or might be stamped into case. Where is the FNR?

![]() If you have 36 volts on both sides of the solenoid without the pedal down then you have a bad solenoid.

![]() It could be the controller. It could be batteries. It could be cables. It could be terminals. It could be any number of things. Listen, you're going to have to start providing as much information as possible. Heck, I don't think we've actually positively identified what system is in your cart.
