Re: Which 48V OnBoard Charger?
Interesting reading, was looking at one of these multibank onboard chargers for my Nissan Leaf battery conversion. I'm going 36v on the Leaf Batteries and a 12V deep cycle battery for my radio and lights. With the NOCO Gen4 I was going to use 3 banks for the 36v Leaf Batteries and one bank for the 12v battery. Then I realized that because of the cell configuration to get to 36v with the Leaf batteries I wouldn't have any 12V battery banks, the way they are configured to get to 36v is 5 7.6v modules in series. Bummer.
Guess I'm going to have to wire 2 onboard chargers. |
