![]() I'm wondering if anyone has ever bench tested a speed control box. I know there are companys out there that rebuild these things so there must be some sort of test procedure that can be done with a DVOM and power supply.
Maybe testing requires specialized test equipment that the normal shmo would not have, but I thought I'd throw it out there and see if there are any thoughts. Before dropping a few hundred bucks on a new one, I'd like to make sure that the contoller is in fact bad. |

![]() Much easier to test it in the cart. Basically you need supply 36v (or rated input) power to test output.
