![]() Ok, so I believe this is that Gizmo know as the ITS (The round part that the tube-like thing goes into) And then there is the tube gizmo....which is called the _________ fill in the blank.
![]() I've upgraded my controller and my microswitch is new, all of my wiring is upgraded and brand new, and I'm getting a little herky-jerky "movement" when I'm going very slow in forward. Now, I'm guessing there needs to be an adjustment to the tube gizmo? ![]() Any help on what to loosen, do I disconnect power before I wrench anything loose here? And what direction should I move anything? Forward or backward? Thanks. I know enough to be dangerous......Dave ![]() ![]() |

![]() IN one case The jerky movement was caused by the micro switch not activating soon enough. The plunger was already going into the tube when the ms triggered. The trigger collar on the plunger is adjustable. It can be screwed in toward the tunnel once the set screw is loosened. In one rare case I did grind a flat slope on the collar to line up with the ms roller and allow the ms to trigger sooner. I hope this helps

![]() Thanks ScottyB. Actually......when I read the documentation....I'm amazed that for the "measuring device" they actually use a 17/64" drill bit!! OTOH, if that's what works and makes it easy.....then why not!!
I haven't actually "yanked" off the floor mat yet to do this. I'm sitting in my comfy chair listing to the wind howl by at 20 to 30mph as I look at the outside temp of 28 degrees. So, I use my cart to go hunting.....and I'm not in any rush to go hunting right now!!! :) |

![]() Ok fellows.....I've done the adjustment with the ultra-fine 17/64" drill bit (and the "original" adjustment" was off). So...now I still get.....let's call it Herky
![]() ![]() In other words, I still have a small herky-jerky when I do a slow start. So, would that mean I need to adjust the plunger so that it is "in" a bit more at rest, or should it be adjusted "out" a bit more at rest.....or is this a matter of I just gotta fool with it and see? Thanks. Dave |

![]() If the ITS is at fault then the plunger would be into the coil too much when the micro switch activates.
I hope this helps |

![]() i went thru some deep water and that box filled with water. I didnt know it untill I got that same jerking stuff. I got the water out and still had the jerk. I replaced the black part and it went away. Smooth as ever. Sealed the box back up and so far so good.

![]() That little black thingy is the ITS, or Inductive Throttle Sensor.
![]() Those gizmo's are a bit "pricy" so you wanna make sure it's bad before you replace it. FWIW, I did make a fine adjustment to mine and now it's as smooth as silk!! Well, ![]() ![]() |
