How to wire Curtis Control box to a 2005 Ezgo

I took pics of my Curtis controller when I uninstalled my last controller. But I cant figure out what wires go to the batteries. When I install the BL+ to the positive and the BL- to the negative battery i get a HUGE spark that burns into the terminal.

Can someone tell me how to wire this?

You didn't mention if you have a Series cart or a PDS cart, so here are schematics for both.
