Last time I checked NAPA was branding Exides.
I was told that Napa sells Exide branded as Napa, so they are good for sure! And much cheaper than labeled "exide"

I used Deka one time and thought rather highly of them. Trojans are nice but I don't think they're worth the price.

Me neither, from now and on I am thinking that my carts will carry Exides, Trojans will be only for customers who can afford them!

Yes sorry, you right, i should say who WANTS no other than Trojan and can afford them.
There's people that is married with the brand and if you're making them save some bucks they start to think they are buying lower quality...

I do believe trojans are a better battery, but not worth the difference in price..

I don't know exactly what kind of materials Trojan uses to make their batteries, but what I've heard is that it has something to see with their technology in separators.
Somehow, they have a patented separator they state is unique in the industry...

Duh know really... I think it could be a matter of perception and consumers (we) being trapped by propaganda.

My local trojan batt reps gave us that say "Trojan plus series". I get the funniest looks from that hat.

in fact I was selling those plus series and didn't like the fact they came back to the individual caps. and oh yea, they have now a way to prevent you to loose the cap... it has never happen to me to loose a single one. So I don't see the reason for this.
I do like the fact the have now embedded posts and level indicators... something others manufacturers been doing for years... so why are they plus?

plus=money... since they changed to this newer model their prices are crazy rising, and I think that even there is a lot of increase in the price of lead, none all of the manufacturers are increasing their prices as them.
