Foward/Reverse gearing problem? Help please
I recently was enlisted to do some work on the local ez-go electric golf cart. I believe that it was made in 1996 it is non dcs or pds. My problem is that I took apart the forward and reverse gear selector in order to oil it and when I have tried to put it back together the cam is not making contact with the micro switches like it should. The camshaft fits into its designated area and all the copper contacts make connections at the correct spots but there is a small gap between the top of the cam and the bottom of the micro switches. If I am to turn the cam the cam never comes in contact with the micro switches like it should. The forward/ reverse gear that I have looks like the one in the picture.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. |

make sure the cam is on the right way. the bottom of the cam has a metal piece that goes with the stops on the board..
