Default What is next?

I'm looking to get a little bit more top speed out of my 48v EZ GO. I have already upgraded cables, D&D motor, 650 Alltrax, 48 volt HD solenoid and of course converted to 48 volts. Now my cart will do around 20-21 mph on level ground but I haven't found a hill it couldn't climb. So I would be ok with a little less torque to gain 8-10 mph to my top speed. So what is next? Thanks for the help.

Thanks Roady for the quick reply.

The gears listed were for gas carts, does it make a difference since mine is a sparky? And how much torque will I lose between the 8:1 and the 6:1 and the difference in the top speeds

Thanks again for your help.

There is a difference between gas and electric rear end gears
You could get some taller tires, thats like a bolt on gear change. From the looks of your cart you could fit bigger tires on with no problems.

I did just puncture one of my fronts, so I do have an excuse to get new tires. How big do you think I could go?

I don't really know how tall, my knowledge is limited on electrics. but you seem to have the motor and controller to go real big. I would guess you could run 26" tires with no problems.

Could I switch to all 12 volts and not have to change anything but the charger?
