Default EZGO ELE BATTERY / Quit

I have a EZGO Electric w/6 batteries I Swaped out 2 that had bad terminals after I reconnected nothing work not even the reverse buzzer. Is there a control curcuit that has a fuse or a diode that may have been shorted?? It seems that the 2 new batterys were 8 volt not 6 volt What woould blow??

Check the polarity on the two new batteries ... The cables should go from the positive of one battery to the negative of the next. Do you have a meter you can check the voltage with? If so, check the voltage across the cables that go to the charger plug (without the charger plugged in). It should be around 36VDC.

What year is your cart? That info will help these guys better diagnose your problem. If you don't know the year, give the Model and Serial numbers and these guys can tell you.

There are two micro switches on your F/R board that can fail and cause symptoms you mentioned...

There is also a reed switch coming off your charger receptacle(small wire) that can fail.. Connect the car side of that wire to the main positive terminal on your batteries... That will make the car run if its the problem...

Does your car have a tow/run switch? If so that could be the problem..
