The blues look like they connect to the microswitch.... open her up and see? The black and white should be the throttle position indicator wire to the controller? But I am confused about the 1 to 2 wire split on the white? can you open it up and tell us what color wires go to the micro switch inside?

Blue and green go to micro switch and the black and white both have splits in them with round plug connectors (female ends) the blue wire from micro has a male rpc, the green has a female spade connector. The black wire also has what looks like a diode??? or something wired inline.

Lets see a pic of the diode in the black wire?

Color wires lead to discussions about colors instead of function ..........
Without color you have to know what wire goes from where to where and why

Scotty, the Black and white are split because that car was originally a 48 volt unit that used the 3rd micro on the F&R for the "half speed reverse". One of them (I think the black) will have diodes/resistors in line on it to reduce the resistance to half the "normal" resistance.

dukgetr, unless you WANT half speed reverse, clip the white and black to the point where you only have a single strand of wire and then extend them back to your controller.

10-4 got your meaning now. Definetely don't need half speed reverse.

exactly... I guess "clip until you have a single strand" was a bad choice of wording, but at least you got my meaning.....

As a trained E-Z-GO mechanic, I still remember the first time I saw that resistor/diode through the micro for half speed reverse setup... I was scratching my head for quite a while thinking how odd that was..... It has since grown on me, but I still prefer E-Z-GO's setup.......
