What's the Best Electric Cart (any year) if staying unmodified?
Helped dad all day on Christmas Eve. He did a great job disassembling the cart and painting it, now it was time to put it back together. We also pulled the batteries and I was shocked at how good the battery trays looked. Even better than my 98. Just goes to show properly maintaining your golf cart goes a long way!
I found several article on the Curtis controller also. Apparently for only a few bucks they can easily be taken apart and modified to run on 48v! So all my dad would have to purchase is a new solenoid and charger. Too cool. I brought him some 10" wheels that were on my cart when I bought it. He had bought some 8" Yami hubcaps and unbelievably we made them both work. Too cool, he's the only one I know with deep dish hubcaps! More to come but here's a few pics I snapped. |
