Yup... the clear line is the bowl vent/overflow!

I think your talking about the bowl drain screw... (#12)
so, no... it's best you remove the carburetor off of the engine to adjust/clean it!

here are pics off the motor.I know the inlet on the bottom is the fuel line from the tank. The inlet under the screw, what hose connects to that one.I just want to make sure I have them correct. On the bowl there is already a clear hose coming off of it

The nipple below the idle set screw is the vent/overflow...
the clear hose gets connected to it, and it doesn't get connected to anything down below!

The larger nipple is the fuel inlet from the fuel pump...

The lowest nipple is your bowl drain, it also doesn't get connected to anything!

Thank you.Thats how I had it.When I went to clean the float it seemed to be stuck alittle until I sprayed it and now seems good.Hopefully that was the problem

I started it up and it ran for a few seconds and the gas is still running out of the vent tube

replace the rubber tipped inlet needle that attaches to the float! This is NOT rocket science.....Either that or your float is full of gas......
