Pargo brake band
brake.jpg
Can anyone help me with this band brake? I currently have the cable running through the brake just fine. My problem comes with the cable clamp that is on the cart. After a bit of braking the cable starts to slip through the wire clamp. Is there something that SHUOLD be used for a band brake to stop the cable? I tried doing some research but couldn't find what I thought was a good fix. I tried a cable stop, where you run the cable through a cylinder type part and clamp down with a screw but I can't find the right size. Cable is 1/8" and I tried 1/8" cable stops but can't get the cable through the hole. Its a wire cable and the ends always fray when you cut them. Any guidence would be appreciated. Thanks, |
