What is it??
Hey everyone, I'm new here and looking for help identifying what I just bought.
I know it's a 36v industrial cart once used at an airport. The only identifying mark is an emblem on the back and reads Columbia Car Corporation, Charlotte, NC. I have searched and can't find ANYTHING made by Columbia which even resembles it. I've seen some Taylor Dunn carts which look closer but still not identical. I can find no other remaining tags or labels. If it helps, it has a GE motor and a 7 solenoid setup. It also has a fiberglass body. I'm guessing it's from the late 60s or early 70s but have NO IDEA. I apologize for the picture quality. I just realized how bad it is. The good news is it runs, the tires, brakes and suspension are all good, AND, most importantly, it came with a SWEET and working am/fm 8 track player!!! I know, be jealous! Anyone? Anyone??? Thanks in advance. |

Re: Help! What is it??
Okay, so through sheer dumb luck and a random Google search, I learned this was made by Pargo. Apparently they were produced by Columbia Car but are not related to the Columbia ParCar. I still have no more than a rough guess of age but at least I know the make now!
