02 gas CC cold start issues
New fuel lines, filters, and gas. Removed and cleaned carb/jets. New plug. Seems as if it is not getting gas. I can put it up on stands and spray carb cleaner into carb and it starts. Once I run it for a bit on stands I can drive it and it runs great! If it sits long enough to cool down it wont restart unless I go through the same process again. Any thoughts? BTW, 80 degrees outside.
Thanks in advance, Rick in VA |

Re: 02 gas CC cold start issues
Update - removed stator cover and sanded ignition pick up and stator. With cart on stands checked for spark and still only initial 2 or 3 sparks. Kept checking and suddenly have perfect continuous spark. Drop cart back on ground and runs great. Go outside the next day to use and same old stuff, wont start, no spark!
Any thoughts are appreciated |

You could put it in maintenance Mode.

Lift up the seat look on the back side of the shifter.
Theirs a white knob as you move the shifter from F to R you can see it activate the micro switches. Pull the knob out and turn it 180 degrees now it will start in neutral and not in F or R |

Re: 02 gas CC cold start issues
So this issue is ongoing but I've come across something I can't explain. When I push the pedal to start the cart spins over but wont run. If I pull the spark plug wire and check for spark by grounding, I see great spark, reinstall the wire and it runs great. If it sits for any length of time (hour or more) I have to go through the process again and it works every time!! So by removing the wire, grounding it and depressing the pedal to see spark, and reinstalling the wire it works every time. ANY CLUES?
