Will G16 Body Fit a G22?
Found a nice G16 body but wondering if it will fit a G22?
How much work is it to swap out a body? Thanks ! |

Roof and seat supports have to be removed. G16 body will fit G22, but there is a slight variation. The g16 nose has screws behind the emblem, the G22 uses a "vampire clip" at the bottom of the nose on the inside. You will be swearing at the vampire clip! When you finally get it removed, check it out, you will see why I call it. The harder job is getting a new clip in place, when the old clip is damaged beyond reuse. Start with a Gas body if possible, there is no pre made filler panel to cover the hole from the charge port.
