The end of the manual has a troubleshooting section with values for testing the pulsar, and the coil. I'm not really sure where else to go with it. Intermittent problems suck to figure out.
Double check all of the wiring. + from battery to large solenoid lug. Split small wire from there fuse, key switch, neutral safety switch, pedal switch, small + side of solenoid. Other small side of solenoid to ground, and will have some other ground wires connected to it. The negative battery cable should connect to the frame. At that point there should be a large grounding strap connected directly to the engine, and another large cable connected to the bottom lug of the FnR switch. You need both of them. |
