If you run a Bad Boy on one motor (preferably the rear) take the motor off the front axle as carrying the load of spinning a dead front motor is what's overheating your good motor. Then it just becomes a very ugly, very heavy EZGO TXT functionally.
When I did work on the things, I really couldn't notice one or both motors actually working. Somehow, a customer can. Of course, I don't test drive them in mud, 6% uphill grade, with three dead deer on the roof/backseat kit either like that one nightmare in my first year as a golf car mechanic. |

If I have to replace the controllers, can I just get any 48v regulated controller or do I need to buy one just like what I have on it now (Sevcon Millipak)?

The harness is designed for the Sevcons. The accelerator pedal also. If you get a new controller and haven't done the recall for the accelerator it won't work until you get that part replaced.
