Default New Alltrax TXT48300 install question/issue

Hello all, just finished installing the txt48300 in my cart and it has an issue...

It will move a little in Forward and in Reverse. Reallly slow. So I looked up that symptom and it said to disable the speed limit as that requires the pulses from the magnet sensor in the motor. I disabled the speed limit and it's the same if not worse.

I get 1 or 2mph in reverse and about 5mph in forward.

Lithium Batteries are at 53.9v right now. I connected the laptop and it showed the throttle was at 43% when I didn't have my foot touching it and went to 44% when floored. The cart behaves like it's at 0% throttle to 1% throttle.

Here's the odd part, the stock controller worked in the cart today, then I put in the Alltrax and this. So I don't think the throttle would be bad since it was fine for the stock control?...

People have talked about the Alltrax "learning throttle", but I don't see anywhere what process to go through to get it to learn the throttle. Any advise out there on this?

Thanks,
Joe

Throttle maybe not set to correct selection. Assuming Ezgo TXT the LED should flash green 4 times when powered up and go solid green.

Sounds like you are trying to install a XCT48300 in a EZGO cart with a sepex drive. That pretty much narrows it down to a DCS, PDS or TXT-48. which are you working on?

I'm working on a TXT48. When I power it on it flashes 5 times green.

So I went back through the manual and 5 flashes is for club car, G19 and G22. Scotty's right that 4 is for my Ezgo. How do I change the throttle setting? I didn't see that in the manual.

Certainly better than the 5mph I was getting when it had the wrong throttle programmed into it! I went for another jaunt and hit 27mph. I did turn down some of the settings on it until I get a three mode switch. Don't need wife and kids (or me) wrecking the thing...

I'll charge the batteries up to 57+ then give it a real go later. But I really am liking the lighter weight of the lithium with the control of an Alltrax.

With the higher voltage and lighter weight of the Lithium battery pack, you might want to keep an eye on the Motor RPM.

If you are running stock height tires (18"), at 27MPH you're spinning the motor (stock?) at nearly 6300RPM.

Also, have you got the regen braking adjusted for use with Lithium batteries? I don't know much about using an XCT with Li batteries, but as I understand it, if the regen braking volts and amps are too high, the Li batteries can be damaged.

-----------
Once you get everything sorted out, I'd love to see some data logs from your setup.
