GXT-800 spark issue
Finally found wiring diagram for ignitor. I believe I had got it correct but the only time I get a decent spark, as checked through inline spark tester, is the initial push of gas pedal. While it cranks there may be just an extremely weak random spark. When I release the pedal a decent spark will happen. It will do a random backfire, out the exhaust, on the initial press and that's about it. I have 2 ignitors and 2 coils and it acts the same between them so obviously there is something else. Engine has just been rebuilt and the place that did it said it ran fine for their break in. After that, nothing.

Re: GXT-800 spark issue
Be sure ALL of the grounds are clean & tight, also if the pulsar factory plug has been cut off & butt connectors used make sure the wires are connected correctly .

Re: GXT-800 spark issue
I will check the grounds. Pulsar plug is still oem style so that should be good. Thank you.
