Default Yamaha G8 build

So I have recently acquired a Yamaha 36v G8 I’m looking forward to messing with it! Right now I’m planning to just start with the economy 4” lift kit and put some 20” tires under it. Can I put the 20” tires on the stick wheels without spacers or will I need to get some offset wheels? Also planning on beefing up the shocks since they’re pretty worn out.

The plan is to turn it into an off road buggy for shotgun shooting.

Here’s a G8 I did last year: I used a cheap lift and 20 inch tires I found on craigslist. The fit was great.

Nice! Looks good! Where did you get the wheels and what roof is that?

Think I got the pictures to work, so here’s what I’m working with.

That looks nice. Mine originally had that front cowl as well, but I am guilty of busting it [emoji52]

Luke L,

My G8 cowl is damaged and cannot find a replacement. Which cowl did you use?

I busted mine too. A G14-G22 cowl will fit.
