Default replacing a valve in 84 club car

I need to replace a bent valve in my engine. Sad story
How do I the valve out? I opened the access door, now what? Do I need to take the engine out to do this? I've never worked on an engine before.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. You guys are great.
