Oil not reaching the rockers (tappet)
Have engine taken apart bc we noticed oil wasn't getting the head. When we turn it it pumps to the oil filter but doesn't shoot out the passage. See in pic
What can cause this. We checked oil pump and checked pressure relief valve and all was good there. |

I believe that hole goes to the reed valve for crankcase ventilation. You won’t have a whole lot of oil in the head, there really isn’t much going on in there that needs lubrication. Pretty much all the magic happens in the bottom end. I believe the head just gets misted with oil blowing through the ventilation.
