2006 DS not running
Working on a 2006 DS IQ 48 volt. New batteries and clean cables. Pack voltage 50.7 (batteries have not had but one charge cycle on them). One wheel on car jacked up on a stand.
Tested solenoid. Key on, F/R in F, T/R switch in run. Probed the two large post on the solenoid showed 1.5 volts pressed go pedal and solenoid clicked and voltage dropped to 0. Voltage passing through solenoid. Hooked up DVM black prob to A2 (white wire) and red probe to A1 (green wire) key on, f/r on forward, t/r switch on run, press go pedal slow Mcro clicks voltage is 5vdc and it will increase to only 37.0 volts will not go to 45-48 vdc. If I let off the pedal and press very slow voltage will go up to 45 (some times) and motor will run just for a second or two. When it does run it shutters. So where do I go from here??? Why the low voltage at the motor? |

Re: 2006 DS not running
I decided to test the motor today. Removed all cables from motor. Installed jumper from A1 to F1, jumper from A2 to F2. Connect 16 volts Pos. to A1/F1 an Neg to A2/F2. I have a disconnect switch on Pos. cable. Switched disconnect on Motor did not run. Pulled motor to rebuild.
