Question Club Car-Hunt VE

Good evening, I was gifted a Hunt VE which included the charger. I was told that it was running good when parked approx. 6yrs ago. The charger did not work. I was told that it had fallen from bed of truck. I have called Hunt Ve and left messages. No one has never answered messages. This is what I do know , the serial # KB0843-476965 and this leads me to believe the year of the cart 2008. The charger is a club car built by lester IQ plus 48vt puts out 56 vts after I repaired it. The Date on the charger is 2009. I believe the cart was built on a club car chassis but have no idea which one. I need help identifying the cart. Then try to get operators manual , service manuals etc. I have replaced the batteries and drove it around in the yard it moved very slowly. This could be a few things . I tinkered with it the next time i was at the camp and got it up to full speed went approx half a mile then stopped and put it in 4 wheel drive. I pulled off in 4 wheel drive went a total of ten feet it stopped and has not moved on it own power since. I work offshore 21 days on and 21 off. I will be headed back to camp and try to trouble shoot cart. I would be a great help if I knew what I have. Thanks In Advance

Default Re: Club Car-Hunt VE

Welcome to the forum! Since nobody else has chimed in, I'll say something. Based on Google images of HuntVEs, they look like DS conversions to me. We have many DS and Club Car manuals available for free on the forum, check the stickies. I won't be of much help for diagnostics, but to cover the bases: You're sure the new batteries are good and the right ones? (4x12 or 6x? Still charged? Getting any clicks when you hit the accelerator? All connections clean and snug? What kind of 4WD does it have...individual motors on the front wheels? Photos would be great.
