Yeah, its as CP said above, it is a common problem. Often times, you break the rod as happened in my TXT. His just bound up once it was loose. At this point, the solution is to verify the condition of the crank journal on the affected rod, and the rod bearing surface. If all is super smooth, I would torque it down and run it. If there is any scoring, or aluminum deposited on the crank, pick up new rods, emery cloth on the journal till its smooth, measure to make sure it is within tolerance, and assemble.

You wrap 1000 emery cloth around the journal, use a heavy rubber band, shoe string, or paracord in a long loop with one or two full wraps around the emery cloth, and a drill with a pulley of some sort at the other end, and you have a belt sander to make short work of it. Just need to make sure the band moves back and forth across the width of the cloth. Keeps it round and provides a perfect finish.
