EZGO Shuttle Parking Brake Question
I bought a 98 Shuttle that someone had installed a lift kit in the front and then ran into issues in the back with all of the brackets for the parking brake cable and hydraulic brake system. They homemade a shackle system that is garbage and have taken it all out and I'm fabbing up everything to work with the proper rear lift kit.
My question is, if I do away with the whole cable parking brake setup, does anyone see an issue with just installing a line lock switch in the hydraulic setup that could be plumbed up to the dash? This would allow me to cut off all the cable mounting brackets and levers that operate the current system. Looking at something like this. https://www.jegs.com/i/JEGS+Performa...oaAt4xEALw_wcB Thoughts? |

Re: EZGO Shuttle Parking Brake Question
Line lock would probably work but if it bled down or you would lose the brake. Not 100% sure what that hub looks like but wonder if one for a workhorse would work.. The rear lift blocks have a place to attach the brake cables to.
