Need new charger??
Well, I finally got around to replacing my batteries on my 36V PDS cart. Then, I plug in to try to top the batteries off, and the charger doesn’t kick on. It is reading 38.0V on my cart. I realize that is a little low, but it should be kicking on, and it’s not. So my questions are as follows: 1. Is there a way to fix the charger? 2. If not, then what is a decent brand of charger to replace it with? 3. If I want to upgrade to a 42V, then what else do I have to do, as I already have an upgraded controller and solenoid? Thanks as always!!

Re: Need new charger??
Test the voltage in the charge receptacle to be sure the charger can 'see' the battery pack.
The Lester Summit II is the best charger currently available that can charge 36/42/48 volts. |
