Default 2006 Refresher cart wiring

70F251B1-7905-4178-ADD3-9168A63F3699.jpg

I had the 352 motor rebuilt last year, just getting around to getting this thing going.
I don’t recall which wires went to which to the motor.
My wiring harness has red and a black with white stripe, the motor has lt blue and lt green.
If anybody has input on which goes to which, that would be helpful.
Currently blowing fuses. So far, I haven’t found any frayed wires and thought I would go back and start over with these wires.

Thanks for any input.

If you are blowing the fuse, you likely have the solenoid wired incorrectly. There are four terminals, two big, and two small. One big one has a large wire that runs directly to the battery, and a small wire that runs through the fuse and starts the ignition circuit and back up buzzer. The other big terminal has a large wire that runs over to the starter/generator. One of the small ones goes to ground. Doesn't matter which one. The other small one is what we will call the signal or ignition terminal. Blue wire from the key switch lands on that terminal. Should also be wires from the voltage regulator, ignitor, and anything else that runs only when the cart is running. Look over the wires that run down under the cart to the pedal box. If it has been sitting, likely critter chew on a wire an a short somewhere on either the red or green wires. Both are hot when the pedal is depressed. Red one is always hot. Green one activates on the pedal and runs up to the key switch. when you turn the key on, you then get power on the blue wire that runs down to the small ignition terminal on the solenoid. That power activates the solenoid and sends power to the starter generator from the battery through the solenoid.

I think Robbins?
Has EH352C stamped on the bottom.

I’ll revisit the wiring on the selonoid.
Still looking to find out which wires green blue from motor to black and red to my harness.

thanks.

The plastic connector has been cut from the wiring harness on yours. Those green-blue wires come from your pulser coil under fan cover and go to your ignitor as shown in my picture and in wiring diagram. Color of wires is shown also just like the one I have.
I think your confusion is because the connector was removed. Look at my pictures close. Last picture is how they plug into the ignitor .
You say it is blowing fuses ? which ones. More than one fuse ?
A 12 volt wire is going to ground somewhere but need to know which circuit the fuse is blowing ? Lights maybe ?
Hope this will help. Tom

Trig, I can’t zoom in on your pics. Can you tell me which wire is connected to red and which to black.

I just want to be sure I have these correct then go from there.

Thanks

Definitely a short somewhere. Is it the main fuse from the solenoid large post?

Red to green, black to blue I think. Not had much dealing with the MCI engine, I am sure Trig will be back soon enough to confirm.

Thanks much!

Looks like I’m gonna have to tear through it looking for wire grounding.
