Still can’t find the gas tank. I looked for an hour and a half. Then realized I had an electric golf cart. And it’s not even an ezgo.
CM you of all people should have been able to figure out why my ezgo wouldn’t start… |

I did query that I thought you had an electric cart earlier. I just assumed you made the trip to Tom's shop to help him tidy up the wire nuts and was playing with his toys.
The information you gave in the opening post said you had replaced the piston, oiled the clutch and replaced the carb. With that data one would assume we were looking at a PETROL Engine. Now who looks dumb ? Maybe you forgot to turn the key to the on position? Thinking more on this, my instinct suggests the problem all along is most likely to be the big nut behind the steering wheel. |

I did replace the piston. That’s the thing you step on to make it go. But I think I may have put it in backwards or upside down? All 4 clutches have plenty of oil. And the carb is fully charged.
Jeez I swear some of you people just have no idea what you’re even talking about. Let alone trying to offer advice to a newb like me  I think you just wanted to make a sentence that included the words “Tom’s nuts, playing, and toys” and see if you could get away with it. No. You’re busted  |

I just realised, I think you may be talking about a golf cart! I thought you were referencing a trolley bus or a perambulator. Now that's a completely different kettle of fish. Now I think it may be the overhead cables are not reaching down to contact the wipers to supply power to the V8 engine.
EDIT. Sorry, I think the perambulators have a V12. My bad. |

Mind you, having worked in Nick Parks studio's in the early days of Wallace and grommet, I can't really comment. I also did some work on the original Thomas the tank series too. I shouldn't have told you that! |
