Ebay engine rebuild kits feedback please
Anyone use one of the engine rebuild kits found all over ebay? The prices look reasonable and I am confident in my ability to rebuild the engine. My concern is the quality of these aftermarket kits. OEM is no longer available for the old 295 robins. So how about it, any luck with these?

Re: Ebay engine rebuild kits feedback please
I don’t think you have a whole lot of options. I’d steer clear from the no-name brands though. Last few 295’s I rebuilt turned out fine using the redhawk brand parts. I got them from my local ezgo dealer since that’s what they carried and I didn’t have any problems with them, so I can only speak for my experiences with that particular aftermarket brand. But The way I look at it, if that’s what the dealers are carrying because OEM is no longer available then it’s probably as good as you’re gonna find.
