Yep, I saw your thread back when you posted, and I do like that idea, but my bed is now over 40 inches from the ground with that big lift! It's unreal!I would need a stepladder for anybody except the most athletic of teenagers to get up there to the seat. That's why I want to put one of the regular flip flops on there instead of the bed, cause the beds basically useless now except for hauling coolers, hunting stuff to the deer stand, etc. I guess I could purchase a smaller 3-4 inch lift for my cart and lower it, but I'm having a hard time justifying that purchase when I got my current lift for free. Even though it's a cheap lift, it was free and I'll probably only replace it when and if it breaks. lol. The flip flop seats have that step up platform that will be about the same height as the floor of the cart, which will be a lot closer to the ground than 40 inches.lol. And I'll still have the flatbed to haul my cooler or hunting stuff when I'm riding solo! I wanted the St Sport 2+2 which has the flip flop seat when I bought my cart anyway, but it was $1500 more at the time. I don't really use the flatbed that's on there now.

the reason i use the 3" lift is due to liablity. I am a dealer. I have to make sure the cart is safe for it "NOT" to turn over, even tho you can still turn them over. plus you still have the same grnd clearance with the 3" vs the 6". the tire height give you the grnd clearance. But They do look mean with the bigger lift and bigger 25" tires.

you can actuatly modify a rear seat to mount on your cart if you dont like the bed. a few on here has done that.

Every local dealer I've talked to about it says the txt rear seats won't work because I have the metal body. Could anyone shed some light on how I will have to mod the seat/mounts to get a txt rear seat sit to work on my cart. Thanks

rocknrone,

What size tires are you running with your current set up? Did you stay with the 23" tires? If so can you post a picture of your cart for me to look at.

I have the exact same cart, and put the 6" lift on as well, and have been having the same concerns as you. I just don't know what size tires I want to go with.

Thanls

Thanks! Do they look ok on there or does it look like you should have gone bigger?

Peronally, I think they look great, and I didn't want to lose any more torque by going bigger.

Here are a few pics I took today. I didn't have time to clean the cart up, but you can see how it looks with the 23's. Hope this helps.
