Re: Help with repairing Ezgo Golf Cart 1983
Well it's hard to see what you are describing but the parts you show look corroded. I would recommend that you check all he ground points and clean them up. Make sure there is a ground strap between the frame and the engine. If you go to this thread
http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/gas-e...ce-manual.html you will see the manual. It is not specific to 1983 but not a lot changed so it will show you what you need to know. |

Re: Help with repairing Ezgo Golf Cart 1983
thanks for all the replies.
i have more questions. perhaps a phone number would be useful. if i could call someone to help me out. My accelartor switch is ripped off. Can someone tell me where I can find it. Picutres would help with where the accelartor switch is located. I have to pump gas pedal to keep the engine running, when I remove foot from gas pedal the engine shuts off. I put brand new carbuerator and still the same problem occurs. Thank you so much, Alex. |

Alex, the engine should shut off when ya take your foot off the pedal so the switch must be there. P.S. do'nt spend to much money before going through forums
