Default engine cooling?

hey guys, have a question about the 295 engine. when driving mine for a long period of time im feeling the seat gettin pretty hot. has anyone had any over heating problems? or way to avoid over heating the engine? obviously theres no heat gauge or oil gauge on the txt to keep an eye on things and it makes me a little nervous. mine is street legal and theres a few golf cart poker runs in the summer months. so its running full bore for extended amounts of time. thanks for any input

you could always throw a electric fan in there and cut a vent hole

main thing is make sure the engine stays clean and leak free.

a leaking eng attracts dust/dirt which make it run hotter. Make sure teh fins on teh head stays clean.

They all run a little warm / hot after being driven for a while. But as stated in the previous posts, it is very important to keep the engine clean.
I take an air hose and blow it off, expecially around the cooling fins, and the crankshaft cowling.

Would you pressure wash it as log as you removed the batt and covered the electronics?

Yea I've thought about the electric fan, but didnt know how necessary it would be. I clean the engine after every trail run I take it on only because I had a four wheeler over heat from that same issue
