1996 club car accelerator problems

hi guys, i got a 1996 club car 48V, if i push the pedal down half way it drives at half speed, as soon as i push the pedal more than half way the cart dies, i just replaced the solinoid.
does anyone know what this could be?

was accelerator working properly before changing out solenoid? . . . what type of f/r switch do you have, lever or rocker?

the problem was happening before I put the solinoid in, the cart also had a rebuilt controller put in, but the problem was happening before that too. as for the switch I think it's the lever? it's located right below the seat.

does it have a v-glide or pot box? i think 96 ds has v-glide but regardless 1st thing i would do is load test batteries make sure you don,t have one dropping out and after that i would open v-glide and see what it looks like in there......its quite possible thats where issue is and its not that uncommon........................

96 reagan has a pot i think ds still had v-glide in 96 ???????..............................
