Default Big Hill

I had the cart out this weekend. I noticed a couple of things. I was driving around with a buddy having a few. Deciding we needed more excitement I figured we should try to scale this pretty large hill. I sense checked the operation with my buddy explaining that the cart has slowed a bit since we left earlier. Feeling like throwing caution to the wind I laid her down hit the hill.

Surprisingly even though the cart felt sluggish it seems like as soon as the cart was completely on the hill that the motor seemed to produce additional torque that was not there when we were on flat ground. It went up that hill with no problem. Actually twice.

Does the cart have some kind of sensor that when it's on a hill it will engage some additional gearing or something like that? Anyone have any explanation where all that power came from?

There was 500lbs of man and maybe three to four more beers on the cart at the time we hit the hill. Some empties too but I'm not going to get that specific.

Welcome to DC power

They slow but if the amperage is there and the delivery is there ..... it's hard to stop them.
