I will find out tomorrow. I do think the rear body needs to come off. I know it is easier to get at the top with it off. My big concern is if these new shocks will fit the bolt that is on there now. It looks like the new shocks use a smaller bolt.

Update: Well I pulled the body off this weekend and the new shocks do not fit. They use a smaller bolt than the stock G8 ones. I am sending them back and not going to worry about heavy duty shocks.

Kev, if your G8 shocks are in good shape and the bushings are good, then shim the springs like Curti did!
