Re: g-8 hood repair
Find a G16 cowl. It fits the G8. Otherwise, I've had good luck with getting fiberglass to stick on a G8 cowl in the past.

Re: g-8 hood repair
Is there some secret to getting fiberglass to stick? I've trying to fix some holes and cracks in a G9 body but, the glass won't adhere. I've lightly sanded and wiped off with acetone it still don't seem to stick!
Thanks JP |

Re: g-8 hood repair
The G9 body is different from the G8 body. G9 is more like plastic. And no, you won't get fiberglass to stick to it. G8's are more of a fiberglass hard body.

Re: g-8 hood repair
Thanks smallblock,
Didn't know JB had anything for plastic, I'll look into it. Huskies looked ok against Stanford, hope they've got their track shoes on for this weekend! JP |
