Default Yamaha g1 gas 1982. Help!

What is this part in the photo? It has a crack in it which I labeled. I thought it was the carburetor spacer joint, but it does not look like the one for a G1 that I have found on the internet. I am wondering if that is what it is, but someone had put a different model on there.
Any help would be appreciated.
Melissa

I checked some of the other years and found from 79-82 they look the same but in 83 and up they had changed them.

Small block was correct. The ones with the tube looking thing coming off of them are too big. The 1982 one is square and smaller. I googled that part number and found one. Thx I am looking for the right service manual now. Ugh!!!
