Air shocks
Anybody ever put these on the back of a g16? Thinking I could add load capacity and a lift all at the same time. Would this work and still give a decent ride.

Re: Air shocks
Not sure about G16, but I've heard of guys using them here with good success. The problem I see with air shocks is you have to know the measurements at say 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. This is so you can set up the mounting correctly so when you pump up the shocks you aren't lifting it 6" at the same time.
Here's a thread where a guy used Harley air/hydraulic shocks on his cart and it did very well. Although his goal was to "soften" the ride. I actually have a set of these shocks in my workshop waiting to be put in. http://www.buggiesgonewild.com/lifte...fter-rear.html You can get a pair of these on fleabay for $100 or so. |
