1986 Marathon Carb Problems
Hi guys, just rebuilt a 1986 Marathon with the 2 stroke 244, and when I really get rollin' the carb starts shooting gas out the vent. Anyone have any ideas as to why, or does anyone have the specs on the carb, such as float level or any settings(how many turns in/out, so on). It seems to load up on fuel when I go up a long hill, but flys when its going downhill. Mixin' it about 80:1, no govenor. Thanks.

Re: 1986 Marathon Carb Problems
Did you find a solution on this? Mine is doing the same thing! Just rebuilt the top and bottom of the engine. now runs fine when cold but bogs down to almost a stop once it's warm.

Re: 1986 Marathon Carb Problems
How far does it run before bogging down?
