Default Changing Spark Plug Wires - Robin 11HP - HELP!

I've completed 99% of my to do list on my first cart....the ONLY thing left is installing new spark plug wires. Oil filter, oil, air filter, spark plugs and fuel filter have all been changes. LED lights, gun rack and dump bed strap eyelets installed.

The 2 spark plug wires that I have came in the EZGO 4 cycle tune up kit. They are black with a red ruber sleeve on each. I assumed I pulled the old ones out and just put the new ones in. However......looking at current set up the wires look to be glued in.

Does anyone have experience installing/changing these out? Your HELP is greatly appreciated.

I'm heading to the hunting camp on Friday to drop the cart off for the season. I'd like to finish this tune up tomorrow. HELP!!!!!!!'

Not absolutely sure on your motor, but many are screwed in. There is a screw inside the coil that the wire screws on to.

Unhappy Re: Changing Spark Plug Wires - Robin 11HP - HELP!

Close up of spark plug wires I received as part of EZGO tune up kit. Prior two photos show the spark plug set up on my EZGO. I have no idea how to unhook current wires that appear to be glued in place, no idea how to hook up my new wires and no clue what red sleeve over each wire is. Help is greatly appreciated. I'm surprised thread has been online for over a day with only one response.

I wish I had an answer for ya but my coil and wires are like the wires in the tune up kit and just push into the coil. Not sure about the coil on yours. It looks like its pushed into the sleeve of the coil. Is that collar rubber? If so, can you gently pry on it and see if it comes out of the sleeve? Or is it possible that someone didn't put the orange rubber boots on the wires when they were poss. replaced before.

Wait a minute........ you have an 08 right? If you have the round airbox, then I think you have an MCI engine. If so, then the tune up kit you got may be for a pre MCI and your coil, as near as I can locate on the web, has the wires built in. I may be off on that but I think thats what your looking at.

Air box = air filter? It has a round air filter.

Round air cleaner on the drivers side = MCI Engine. MCI Engine Coil = Preinstalled wires. Double-checking your pic confirms to me (per the exhaust manifold) that You have an MCI Engine. Looks like You're going to have to keep the current wires until You pick up the correct coil, sorry

Will the spark plugs and fuel filter I installed from the kit be alright. The spark plug was a 5ES where old one was 4ES and the fuel filter was smaller in size. Tear drop shaped instead of round barrel shape. Thoughts?
