The 3 upper motor bolts are 1/4-20 thread x 2-1/4" length Grade 5 steel.
The lower motor bolt is 5/16-18 thread x 1" Grade 5 steel. Stainless is not a good idea, not so much because of lack of strength, but because it doesn't play well when in contact with Aluminum, especially when involved with electricity. Galvanic corrosion will eat the stainless bolt and will turn the aluminum around it to chalk. |
