club car ds has new starter, new volatage regulator, and batt. still turns over slow?
well jsut like the title says. new rebuild starter ( testing fine) new voltage regulator, and new battery. and the motor is still turning over slow as hell. acts like it has a dead battery but its 12.7 sitting and 11.5 turning over. what am i missing?

Have you tried using jumper cables to run juice from batt. to starter? Pos and ground!
That will prove or eliminate cables/connections Have you cleaned all connections including ground wires? How does the starter turn over not under a load, Loosen up the belt and try. Just because the starter is new doesn't mean it worth a darn these days (CHINA) Does the starter get hot. it can bench test good not under a load and still pull to many amps under a load. Does the engine turn over easy by hand? I am sure someone here will say 12.7 and 11.5 is not enough, |

Second the cables... it's amazing how the connectors and cables can not send enough juice to the starter. I replaced a starter on my diesel truck just to find out it was merely the battery cables that were causing it to turn over so slow.

One time on my car I had a starting issue and changed the battery. Nope
Changed the starter. Nope Changed the cables and it was up and running. Original cables looked good on the terminal ends but they were not. Lesson learned, change the cheaper stuff first. |

end up being the starter. new starter was bad, we swapped it with another cart we had here and it fired right up. we had it tested and everything and it passed. weird. made sure it was 84-96 (counter-clockwise) also. just kinda weird. oh well its fixed now
