Default Tutoiral: Turn key, Motor starts

ive always hated how you have to hit the pedal to start the cart. why cant it just stay running?

its pretty simple to fix

climb under your cart and find the two wires (mine were red and brown) running under the floor boards. these are the wires that power the switch in the pedal to start the motor. disconnect both of them from the switch.

now, youll have to make a little patch wire. i just used about a 4 inch section of 16g. put a male bullet connector on each side.

plug your patch wire into each wire to complete the circut and make sure you tuck all your wires back in place.

Turn key, motor starts.

On a G14 you can remove the floorboard to expose your pedal start switch, then simply remove the two bolts holding the switch in place and tuck the switch aside. Replace floorboard and turn the key, motor starts without pushing pedal.

Another way to do this is by just simply wiring in a toggle switch in paralell with the stop switch. Close the toggle swich and engine stays running, open the toggle switch and gas pedal stop switch functions normally. This gives you a choice in how the engine starts. The gas pedal switch is nice in that you just hop in the cart, step on the gas and go.
