Default G9 accelerator problem

Well I finally got my G9 running good except sometimes when I go to take off I have to keep pressing the accelerator before "something" catches and it starts to turn over. What would cause this? As long as you are running and keep the pedal down it runs fine but if you let off then go to press it again sometimes it does nothing. Any ideas?

If you follow the tests (with a volt meter, not a test light) in the above sticky, "so your Yamaha wont turn over, you should find the problem. Good luck

Yeah I'm not sure Trace? Intermitten problems are the hardest to find too. Weak ground or broken wire maybe? I remember when I first bought mine, that little ground wire coming off the end of the generator was broke. I didn't find it untill I started wiggling wires while trying to start it.
