sorry I haven't got to it yet. blew a brake line in my truck yesterday and had to fix that first. hopefully tonight!

put a vise grip on the brake line and the truck will be ok till you get the cart fixed just kidding. when it rains it pours they say... just curious if you got the G9 rockin again??

ok so according to the wiring diagram im supposed to have a ground cable run from B- to engine block, on my cart I don't have that wire, so I did as suggested by Marathon and ran the new battery cable. This may have fixed my problem, went for a ride around the property and it didn't sputter at all and usually it would before I leave my drive way! im going to run it for the weekend and ill check back

does your G9 have a ground cable going to the engine block?

Mine iirc the cable goes to the generator which is mounted/bolted to the mount plate which is also bolted to the engine block.....and now welded to plates that bolt to my clone, though clone has its own ignition at this time.

ok so after a weekend of using the cart it is definitely fixed. but is me running a ground to the engine block just a band aid?

now that I think about it, all this started after I removed the starter and installed new brushes. and my ground goes to the starter and should transfer then to the engine block. but it didn't look bad when I had it apart?
