Rain enclosure w/ cargo box help.
My dad and I are putting a cart (club car precedent) together for a local business and I need some opinions. They want a cargo box to haul products between buildings and also want a rain enclosure to haul in the rain. We aren't putting an extended roof on it and I'm sure will have to alter a regular rain enclosure to cover the cargo box. My question is 1) does anybody have a setup like this and could you provide pictures and 2) would it be better to purchase the regular 54" enclosure and alter the back or go with the 80" and alter it somehow?
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated! |

Re: Rain enclosure w/ cargo box help.
I built one out of wood, it initially was larger but not as big as you'r wanting.

Re: Rain enclosure w/ cargo box help.
Thanks for the reply. It is going to have to be bigger than that. We were going to go with a typical black cargo box. Hopefully somebody here has done this and can offer some insight. Thanks again though.

Re: Rain enclosure w/ cargo box help.
That is with the extended roof, so with a short roof you would have to fabricate an extension or come from the top of the box to support a long cover,...

Re: Rain enclosure w/ cargo box help.
Thanks for the responses. In my mind I'm thinking more of the 54" and rather than the back running down to the back bumper maybe cutting it down the sides and having it run to the back of the cargo box at a 45* angle. Maybe fixing it with some Velcro on the back side of the bed and the bottom of that cover. Any thoughts on this way of doing it?
